Meet Lisa Mathena

As a lifelong resident, my expertise and experience of more than 26 years in the real estate market of Delaware’s Southern New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties is extensive. As a Top Producer throughout my career, clients can be assured that I understand how to successfully navigate through the state and local Real Estate rules and regulations. I can identify and assist in procuring any necessary vendors and services while simultaneously providing my knowledge, advice, and negotiating skills to help the process go smoothly. My primary goal is to assist my clients and customers in making the decisions that are best for them.

In October of 2009, as my business increased I realized the need to secure the assistance of additional professionals who similarly valued the high standard of customer service that I provided each of my clients. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to The Lisa Mathena Group!

Donna Girod

As a Buyer’s Agent since July 2009, Donna begins each relationship by communicating with each client to identify the most important needs they desire in their new home.

Donna says, “I pride myself on making time for clients outside of the “normal” business hours so I may better accommodate their schedules. My experience to date has shown me clients who have easier access and availability to reach their Realtor is essential. I have established relationships with reputable mortgage lenders, settlement attorneys, and service contractors to streamline the closing process.”

In addition to being a Buyer’s Agent, she also works with the property management department at Patterson Schwartz Real Estate. “I am able to assist homeowners who have made the decision to lease their home as opposed to selling it. This enables homeowners to generate an income while possibly relocating and not selling their home at the present moment. My experience in property management goes back to 1990. I find the years I’ve spent working with renters and owners has provided me with the expertise in dealing with people in a variety of living situations,” Donna concludes. “I look forward to working with you as well!”

Dean Donovan

Dean brings a wealth of Real Estate experience to The Lisa Mathena Group! From managing his own Brokerage; receiving Top Sales Awards in Community Sales and Land Acquisition negotiations; and several stops in between, Dean has, in a sense, seen it all!

He readily admits his favorite segment of the Real Estate transaction is as a Buyer’s Agent. “It’s amazing how rewarding it is for me to experience the reactions of my clients when they locate, then settle on the house of their dreams,” Dean explains. “I like to believe I bring a detective-like sense when I meet with clients. I listen carefully to their desires and requirements and with my years of experience in this market, I believe I have a definite advantage when I compile the list of available houses for them to see.” Many times clients have reported that Dean was able to show them houses in locations they may not have considered if searching on the own!

Felecia Duggins

As both a Realtor and a career in the field of education for more than 30 years, Felecia Duggins recognizes the importance of homeownership. It has become her personal mission to educate as many people as she can as to how empowering it is to own your own home. “I feel it’s so important to show people the numerous benefits of paying a mortgage as opposed to paying rent,” said Felecia. “When you buy a house, in addition to the sense of satisfaction of home ownership and tax benefits, you essentially become a member of a community. A home is the largest investment we make in life. In order to protect our investment it is also important to protect the community in which the property is located.”

Many people Felecia meets are surprisingly unaware that they can afford to own their own home. “I have conducted workshops for first-time home buyers. I show my clients what they need to do to improve their credit score, save for a down payment, and manage their money to afford their mortgage payment. “I have assisted several clients in the purchase of their second, larger home as well. I take my clients from beginning to the end of their real estate transaction,” Felecia concluded.

Deborah Solito

Deborah’s desire to work in Real Estate came many years ago as she and her husband were looking to purchase their fourth home. During the process of earning her license, she discovered a major requirement of the position is to really like people. “I have worked with people my whole life. Fourteen years ago I started my career in real estate and I find that I love working with people, especially helping them find their ideal home.”

Throughout her career she has developed her skills and knowledge in the industry by successfully completing Continuing Education Courses, receiving numerous citations, actively participating in The Women’s Council of Realtors, and working to raise awareness and funding for The Leukemia-Lymphoma Society (The Sunshine Kids). Deborah has also offered her services as an approved Realtor with Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), a Boston, Massachusetts-based, national, HUD-certified, non-profit, community advocacy organization where she taught classes and assisted individuals locate and purchase homes.

For Deborah, finding the perfect home is like working on a puzzle. “You gather all the pieces and information, and then working as a team, we put the puzzle pieces together,” she explains. “What I find particularly rewarding is when a single person, single mom, or dad finds, that last puzzle piece. I find joy and true happiness because I know their life will be happening in the home of their dreams!”

Missy Graver

The Lisa Mathena Group is pleased to welcome Missy Graver as a Sales Associate. Earning a bachelor's degree in finance from Wilmington University, Missy has an extensive professional background in account management and industrial sales. She is originally from Berks County, Pennsylvania, and has lived in Lewes for more than 15 years. Missy is a proud mother and grandmother who enjoys giving back to the community through Beebe Medical Center fundraising efforts. She is licensed in Delaware.

Helen Fausnaught

Formerly with Keller Williams, Helen Fausnaught, a professional in the real estate industry for the past 28 years, is a top lister/seller and multi-million dollar producer. Licensed since 1990, she previously was affiliated with O’Conner, Piper and Flynn and also operated her own brokerage, Classic Realty, for 17 years in Pennsylvania. She is licensed as an associate broker in Pennsylvania, and in Delaware as a sales associate.

A native of Danville, Pennsylvania, Helen holds a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University. In addition to her real estate career, she is also the owner/operator of The Swell Tiki Bar and Grill in Rehoboth Beach. She presently lives in Rehoboth Beach with her family. A former softball star in Pennsylvania, Helen sponsors a team in the women’s 50-and-over summer league in Sussex County.
